Full Spectrum CBD Myrcene Drops
Chicago Cannabis Company
Our newest flavor of CBD drops is made with full spectrum hemp extract and inspired by the aroma molecule Myrcene. Myrcene is the most common terpene found in cannabis, as well as hops. Its aroma can be described as musky, earthy, and herbal. Myrcene has potential sedating and hypnotic effects and can help facilitate the interaction between cannabinoids and our endocannabinoid system. This synergy can result in greater psychoactivity and potentially maximize the therapeutic effects of cannabinoids.
"Full spectrum" refers to raw hemp extract that features most if not all of the phytocannabinoids found in the cannabis plant. In other words, the cannabinoid profile or makeup of full spectrum oil is closest to that of the original plant.
Cannabis contains more than 480 chemical compounds, and more than 100 are classified as cannabinoids, the most well-known being CBD, THC, CBC, CBG, and CBN. It also contains beneficial terpenes, including Myrcene, Limonene, Alpha & Beta -pinene, Linalool, B-caryophyllene, Caryophyllene oxide, Humulene, Nerolidol, and Phytol.
This means that full spectrum oil, unlike our THC-free drops, DOES contain THC (although only a small trace). This is especially important if you are concerned about drug testing. Full spectrum oil from hemp plants contains less than 0.3% THC and will not make you high; however, if you consume full spectrum CBD oil, it is possible to test positive for THC in a drug test.
