Contrary to popular belief, CBD isolate is not "synthetic" CBD; it is simply the isolated CBD from the cannabis plant via chemistry. CBD isolate is often referred to as "pure CBD." Unlike full spectrum hemp oil, CBD isolate is flavorless and more water compatible than extracts or distillates. CBD must undergo a process of nanoemulsion to be completely water soluble.
The World Health Organization (WHO) recently published a Critical Review Report of CBD. Among other findings, it concluded that CBD has a good safety profile and that there is no evidence to date of any public health-related problems associated with the use of pure CBD.
Although CBD has been shown to work better for inflammation when coupled with a small amount of THC, it can also be consumed on its own for those who prefer a THC-free product. You can add CBD isolate to your favorite beverage or create your own CBD products.
